Welcome to the Team, America
For centuries the USA has been known as the leading missions force of the world. From the American boarders came boatloads and caravans of Caucasian believers faithfully spreading the Gospel to the indigenous peoples of the surrounding nations. But times are changing.
Aiding Africa
It is the testimony of our global interns how counterproductive it is when the West simply send bags of food to Africa. Comments from the fielded interns coupled with research has lead me to question the effectiveness of foreign aid.

Saved by Slave
The ropes mercilessly held fast the slaves wrists to the weary wooden post. His hands were helplessly bound; not even enough room to wiggle a finger in the intensity of the pain. The whip cracked only inches away from his left ear as it licked his shoulder.
On the Move
The mindset behind BCOM, I feel, is this: “We’re a family closely knit together and on the move!” This past Saturday some global interns came back from the Philippines. After a week of debriefing they will be heading off campus again to whatever the Lord directs them to.
