Our unconventional approach to missionary training has worked effectively for over 60 years. Content in a classroom is important, but good content alone does not prepare effective missionaries. The top three characteristics that set effective missionaries apart from the rest of the pack are vibrant spirituality, godly character and inter-cultural social skills.
BCOM makes these outcomes a priority in order to prepare you for effective missionary service. While developing these characteristics, you will be immersed in excellent Biblical and theological studies. Rather than examining case studies in a sterilized classroom, you will learn cross – cultural field realities in an overseas setting. Your four years at Bethany will be spent learning in the context of a community of people who care about them, both on campus, and on the mission field.
