Introducing….Andrew Funderburk

Hello to all the wonderful people who read the BCOM blog!

As most of you probably know, Jarred Spengler is now passing down the BCOM blog torch to me, Andrew Funderburk. (Jarred Spengler is Leaving :( ) Jarred has definitely tilled up the ground on the blog for 19 months. In a sense, he’s like a pioneer missionary who has braved the jungles of Africa to bring the Gospel to an unreached people. He is one awesome guy and has been so helpful to me teaching me all the ropes of social networking. He will be missed!

For all of you who don’t know me beyond my name, here’s some background info to introduce myself. I was born and raised in northeast Mississippi, where cotton, sweet potatoes, and southern accents blend together like butter and bread. Last year, for the first time in my life, God called me away from everything I knew and was comfortable with. It was then that God called me to come away from my small town in Mississippi to brave the wintry colds of Minnesota. After knowing where God said go, I arrived here this August, with no regrets. You never have regrets when God tells you to do something. :)

I’m super excited to be taking the lead on the blog and the social networking side for BCOM. I know God has awesome things in store for all of us as we are all learning more and more about Him. I’m also excited to be chatting and meeting all of you who read the stuff God inspires us to write.

Let His love take you to higher heights!

My life verse: “For if anyone will come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” –Luke 9:23
