When we said yes to Christ, we made a promise that we would follow Him for life. Yet we think that we do not have to be obedient to what He tells us to do.
Issues. Issues. Issues. Yes, we all have issues. Where do we run when we have problems?
Katrina Brooks, current BCOM student and BCOM libararian, pitches hard-hitting questions to us in this thought-provoking write-up. She points out the fact that we each get caught up in worshipping the decorum of our Christian lives rather than the One who is only worthy of our praise and worship.
As unfaithful as we are to God, He still holds out His hands of life to us, wishing that none of use should perish. When it seems as though we are left in the back alley, His love pursues us.

Missions trips. We equate it with crossing an ocean to the blazing heat of Africa or the devastation in Haiti.
The lights, the sounds, the excitement, the weariness, the exhaustion of walking too much– it’s there. We see the selfishness, we see the shopping carts full, and we see the Salvation Army bell ringers all around us this Christmas season.

We each have experienced the valleys. We each have been stabbed with hurt. We each have been enclosed by shadows.
“God! Hear our cry! Let Your winds blow upon us!” This is the cry of so many people, and more than likely, it is a cry you have also cried. But when those winds blow, it seems that we always cry to God to stop them.
