Passive listening is not what we have in mind when we think of academics. We mean learning – true engagement with thoughts, concepts, ideas, strategies and problems. It isn't just learning facts from a text book but learning how to learn from our social environments, from the vast resources we’re surrounded with, from the Word of God and His Spirit, and from one another. Theology for instance, should never have become what it so often is today, a dry intellectual discipline.
Truly studying the person of God should be the catalyst of our love for Him since we can’t truly love one we don’t know. As one faculty member has said, "the best theologians should be the first to cry in the prayer room".
Take some time to check out our classes here and abroad, along with our academic calendar, clarity on accreditation and transfer credits.
