I am the internship site supervisor for the intern that wrote this and am overjoyed to hear about him learning to live out Jesus LOVE to the people here. It is indeed a great place of need and every day there is someone who comes to the door of my home with a request, Sometimes they arrive at a challenging time when I am busy with other things but God has been really placing John 15:12 on my heart lately. Jesus says it so plain and simple, "My command is this : Love each other as I have loved you." This is not a suggestion but a Command! With our western mindset it is hard not to want to ask each day "What am I going to do?" and try to write out a list of things that we can check off to feal like we have made a difference. It is not about doing but about being a follower of Christ. We need to just Love. Thank you for the post one of the four guys that were here!! We miss you tremendously but are so proud of you!
