Yes, domestic ministry is important, but we as believers must know what's going on around the world. A global perspective, a trip to the other side of the pond may be just what some people need to see that the kingdom of God is advancing, Islam is growing more fierce and the kingdom of darkness is growing more violent. People need to see something that isn't shrouded and diluted by opinion. Something they can see and touch for themselves. People tend to have a harder time forgetting what they've seen as apposed to forgetting what they've been told. I think that a global perspective is key for every Christian.
