Are you concerned as a parent that we only offer one degree and it’s in missions? What if you’re child is not 100% sure you’re supposed to be a missionary? We know you might be asking, so allow us to answer by first stating that we think everyone should be a missionary! If you’re still reading, we really believe what we just said. Missions, as a career choice, has expanded so vastly over the course of the past two decades that any true follower of Jesus, reflecting His character, and loving people, can be an amazing missionary. Sure you’re student has some things to learn in addition to what I just described but that’s why they should come to BCOM. We have alumni who have planted churches all over the world, come alongside existing churches and become invaluable in assisting them, pioneered new fields, started businesses in sensitive nations and through them are reaching lost people, feeding the hungry, teaching, using technology and arts to communicate Christ . . . We could go on and on.

If you’re child is an artist, a musician, has a passion for youth, can fix cars, preach, raise a family or even edit video then they can be a great missionary. At BCOM they will get the theological foundations and the cross cultural skills needed to do what they're good at, somewhere in the world where Christ is not known.

Our graduates, by the way, are also pastors, youth pastors, Kingdom-minded business people, politicians and the list goes on. Your child will not be limiting their options by coming to Bethany, they’ll be expanding them.
